Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs
Handle cases for regional insurance companies as well as Fortune 500 companies directly
Manage the discovery process by reviewing documents, preparing interrogatories, and conducting depositions
Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and assess potential risks and outcomes
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Texas
Experience in insurance defense or related legal field
Strong legal research and writing skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients
Willingness to develop a book of business
