Responsibilities

Lead Akamaai CDN, WAF & Bot Manager configurations
Optimize caching, performance, and API security
Troubleshoot latency, cache misses, and regional issues
Partner with dev teams to onboard and support multiple apps
Automate Akamaai configs using APIs, scripts, or IaC tools
Act as the Akamaai SME and grow into a technical lead role

Required

5+ years of hands-on Akamaai experience (CDN, WAF, Bot Manager)

Comfort working with Akamaai tools (Ion, GTM, Control Center, mPulse)
Ability to collaborate, lead, and own the platform

Preferred

Automation (Python, Bash, Terraform, Akamaai APIs)
Bot management & CAPTCHA tuning
Prior tech lead or mentorship experience
