Responsibilities
Manages JARI's Defense Programs, including the APEX Accelerator, with a focus on:
Identifying, developing and writing grant proposals to secure funding for defense-related initiatives and business support activities
Organizing and leading councils, forums and events to promote collaboration and partnership opportunities, while ensuring that programming aligns with organizational goals
Keeping updated on all government contracting requirements, while building collaboration and connectivity among stakeholders to strengthen regional defense capabilities
Develops, implements and achieves annual operating program goals
Provides guidance and support to staff with shared programming initiatives
Works extensively with business clients to enhance and grow their companies
Completes all program reporting requirements of JARI’s defense programs
Qualification
Required
excellent interpersonal and communication skills
working knowledge of government contracting and procurement processes
bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
Preferred
minimum of five years of related government contracting/supply chain work experience
