Responsibilities
Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership over multiple accounting operations functions, including payment processing, reimbursements, credits, and compliance-driven workflows
Oversee teams responsible for outgoing payments, customer adjustments, and financial settlements across a broad portfolio of transactions
Maintain and continuously improve internal controls, ensuring financial activity is accurate, documented, and compliant with accounting standards
Serve as a key partner to treasury to support cash movement, account management, and transaction execution
Lead efforts related to regulatory filings, reporting obligations, and compliance-driven financial processes
Manage required tax, licensing, and reporting activities tied to operating entities and transactions
Support external audits, lender reviews, and internal compliance examinations
Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and modernize accounting operations and workflows
Track and analyze operational metrics to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, audit, or financial operations
Prior experience leading teams and managing people
CPA required
Comfortable working with large volumes of financial data and process-driven environments
Preferred
Background in public accounting or external audit strongly preferred
