Responsibilities
Develop and execute credit strategies using historical performance data from multiple sources
Utilize tools like SQL, SAS, R, Python, MATLAB and decision tree software for analysis and strategy development
Apply regression models and machine learning algorithms to predict customer behavior and optimize strategies
Build frameworks for full credit-cycle optimization to maximize profitability
Ensure data accuracy through robust quality control processes
Automate and enhance reporting processes for better insights and efficiency
Present findings and actionable recommendations to leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business, Computer Science); advanced degree preferred
3–5 years of experience in data analytics and problem-solving
Strong skills in SQL, SAS, and Excel; experience with BI tools and additional programming languages is a plus
Innovative thinker with a strong analytical mindset
Preferred
Experience in lending or consumer finance is a bonus
