Responsibilities
Solve process, equipment, and operational failures
Assist in maintenance shut down execution of process lines, monitor key parameters of bleaching units and wastewater treatment plant regulations, and adjust production schedules as needed to support overall mill performance
Use Fiberline Visual Reports (PI Vision, PI Processbook) to monitor and report key Fiberline KPI’s such as brightness, dirt, chemical usage, COD’s, BOD’s, and sludge quality
Maintain, develop, and enhance operator checklists for start-up and shut down of equipment and support SME implementation of new process training systems
Qualification
Required
Engineering degree with 2 years of work experience, preferably in a paper mill environment
Self-starter with drive to continuously improve current state of the areas of responsibility
Understanding of the pulping/bleaching process
Ability to identify trends, troubleshoot, and communicate effectively up and down the chain of command
Strong Computer Skills (Excel, Quantum Excel)
