Chevron is seeking a West Products Optimization Lead who will leverage LP modeling and refining economics expertise to optimize product activities across the value chain. This role involves guiding a cross-functional team to drive alignment and deliver value across the organization’s refining operations.

Responsibilities

Responsible for planning and optimizing the offtake of mogas, jet and diesel from a Chevron US refinery with a focus on safety, efficiency, reliability, profitability. Utilizes Petro (Linear Program) for product valuation, ranking and selection

Deliver the 3-month AOP monthly

Performs routine economic evaluations utilizing a Linear Program (Petro LP) to optimize the refinery and supply chain

Works with Refinery Coordinators to transition plans to execution

Works with other regions and business units to optimize the enterprise

Required

6 years of related experience

Bachelor's degree (Chemical Engineering, or another related field of study experience)

Experience in energy, manufacturing, and/or commodity value chain

Experience with cross functional teams and delivering results

Demonstrated ability to analyze data to draw valid conclusions, identify root causes and solve problems

Demonstrated strong communication skills, ability to communicate at various levels within the organization

Good working knowledge of refinery linear program application (PIMS, Petro, etc). A background in data analysis and visualization with PI Vision, Power BI, SQL, or Python would be a plus
