Senior Accountant - Law Firm in Minneapolis
Ledgent is a law firm seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure financial accuracy and support strategic decision-making. The role involves managing reconciliations, compliance, and year-end processes while collaborating across departments to enhance financial health.
Responsibilities
Lead bank and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Maintain and verify balance sheet and income statement integrity
Assist with strategic financial planning and provide insights to leadership
Manage year-end close activities and related reporting requirements
Collaborate across departments to support financial compliance and process improvements
Contribute to ad-hoc projects and analysis as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA optional)
Strong analytical skills and solid GAAP knowledge
Experience with cash basis accounting; service industry background preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (Orion experience is a plus)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable
Preferred
