Responsibilities

Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex, cross‑functional software programs, translating privacy, regulatory, and business requirements into clear execution strategies and measurable outcomes
Own program planning and governance, including scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, and risk management, proactively identifying issues and driving mitigation to ensure high‑quality delivery
Partner closely with product, engineering, legal, and data teams to align priorities, influence decisions, and drive collaboration across technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Drive change effectively in a fast‑paced environment by adapting plans as priorities evolve, maintaining transparency, and ensuring clear, timely communication at all levels
Provide concise, executive‑level program updates using data, metrics, and narrative storytelling to communicate progress, risks, and decisions
Model strong program leadership by operating with urgency, integrity, and professional courage, fostering a positive, inclusive, and results‑driven team culture aligned with GM’s core values

Required

7+ years of project or program management experience, including ownership of complex, cross-functional initiatives
5+ years of experience supporting software or data platforms
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence both technical and non-technical teams, including senior leaders
Experience defining, documenting, and operationalizing scalable processes
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to provide recommendations and sound judgment
Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships, including external and third-party resources
Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills
Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively

Preferred

MBA
PMP or equivalent certification
Experience leading large-scale, enterprise software or platform programs
Hands-on experience administering or configuring Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar delivery tools
