Responsibilities
Create and maintain CNC programs in Mastercam to meet print and customer requirements
Develop and refine machining processes: setup approach, fixturing strategy, operation sequence, tooling, and speed/feed parameters
Improve throughput and quality by optimizing cycle time, reducing setup time, and minimizing manufacturing risk
Update programs and methods to support customer revisions and manufacturability improvements
Partner with Machining and Quality teams to monitor output and drive process improvements
Design and build fixtures and recommend tooling/fixturing best practices to support repeatable production
Generate models and shop drawings using CAD tools as needed
Interpret solid models for quoting and job planning purposes
Collaborate with Project Management on RFQs and drawing reviews to identify materials, costing inputs, routing, and BOM needs
Support estimating/quoting by evaluating design requirements and selecting appropriate processes and raw materials
Run production equipment when required to meet ship dates or critical schedules
Support training and mentoring of operators as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong Mastercam programming is required
Create and maintain CNC programs in Mastercam to meet print and customer requirements

Proven ability to independently set up CNC machines
Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T, and strong working knowledge of G/M code
Organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Team-oriented communicator with a driven, results-focused mindset
Willing to work off-hours as required and support overtime (up to ~10 hours/week as needed)
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Preferred
Journeyperson machinist credentials preferred; or at least 5+ years of skilled machining experience
Experience with quoting/estimating is a plus
ERP exposure preferred (Made2Manage / M2M a plus)
