MRO Powerplant Engineer
GE Aerospace is a leading company in the aerospace sector, and they are seeking an MRO Powerplant Engineer to provide technical support for CFM LEAP engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul. The role involves collaborating with teams to troubleshoot issues, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Responsibilities
Review of engine disassembly and engine hardware and timely reporting of condition
Raising Departure Record (DR) cases, tracking and actioning in ERP system (OASIS)
Work with technicians to troubleshoot technical issues that arise within the shop
Shop Instruction creation / maintenance and review
Support engineering leader and collaborate with LEAP PSE (Product Support Engineering)/ CTP (Customer Technical Program) on Fleet issues
Interpretation and translation of customer maintenance documents into Lafayette specific internal documents to ensure compliance with customer requirements
Work with internal and external departments and vendors on any technical issues as required to support business needs
Day to day communications, e.g. Specific engine issues, conditions and investigations
Support and coach self-directed teams to achieve program/business objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of Manufacturing or Engineering experience)
