The Gold Studios Group is a growing sports podcast network seeking a highly connected and proactive Talent Producer / Booker. This role involves identifying, pitching, and booking Canada-based guests for multiple sports-focused shows, collaborating closely with production and editorial teams to align guest bookings with show themes and audience interests.

Responsibilities

Research, identify, and secure high-quality Canada-based guests including: Current and former professional athletes, Coaches, executives, and agents, Sports media personalities and influencers, Sports-adjacent figures (analytics, culture, business, etc.)
Proactively pitch guests to hosts and producers based on editorial goals and current sports narratives
Build and maintain a strong booking pipeline across multiple shows
Manage guest outreach, negotiations, and confirmations
Coordinate scheduling with hosts, producers, and guests across time zones
Ensure guests are properly briefed on show format, expectations, and sponsor considerations
Handle all pre-interview logistics, releases, and documentation as required
Collaborate with producers to align guest bookings with episode themes, seasonal sports calendars, and breaking news
Ensure guests and discussions are appropriate for shows sponsored by a casino and gambling brand, with sensitivity to regulatory, reputational, and brand-safety considerations
Flag potential risks and ensure compliance with internal standards and applicable advertising guidelines
Develop long-term relationships with agents, publicists, leagues, teams, and media outlets in Canada
Serve as a primary point of contact for booked guests before and after appearance
Identify opportunities for repeat guests and cross-show appearances
Manage and negotiate compensation for all guests
Maintain accurate booking records, contact databases, and calendars
Track guest performance and audience response in collaboration with analytics and production teams
Provide regular updates on booking status, upcoming guests, and talent trends

Required

2–5+ years of experience in talent booking, production, talent relations, or sports media
Strong understanding of North American sports (e.g., NHL, NBA, CFL, MLS, NCAA Canadians, Olympic sports)
Existing network of Canadian athletes, media figures, or sports professionals is a strong asset
Experience working with sponsored or branded content, preferably in sports or entertainment
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple shows and deadlines simultaneously
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment

Preferred

Experience in podcasting, digital media, or broadcast production
Familiarity with gaming/gambling sponsorships and responsible advertising standards
Strong editorial instincts and understanding of audience-driven content
Proficiency with booking tools, CRMs, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack)
