Inside Sales Engineer - Machine Tools (Chicago, IL)
KAAST Machine Tools is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality machine tools and fabrication equipment in North America. We’re seeking a driven Inside Sales Engineer to manage leads, engage customers, and drive sales results in our Chicago team.

Responsibilities
Manage Leads & Pipeline: Qualify and follow up on inbound and warm leads, maintain a strong sales pipeline, and track all activity in our CRM
Customer Engagement: Analyze customer applications, recommend the ideal KAAST machinery, and deliver compelling presentations with accurate quotes
Build Relationships: Establish trust and maintain strong connections with new and existing customers
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of KAAST’s extensive product line and stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings
Drive Results: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful order fulfillment
Trade Shows: Attend 2-3 industry events per year
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years in inside sales or account management
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Quick to learn new technologies
Highly organized
Results-driven
Detail-oriented
Able to build rapport with customers
Team player who can also work independently
Machine Tool: 1 year (Required)
Sales: 1 year (Required)
Preferred
Capital equipment or machine tool experience is highly preferred
