Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Guidewire implementations and enhancements
Lead requirement workshops and translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows
Support end-to-end Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter implementations within the P&C insurance domain
Analyze existing insurance business processes and recommend system improvements aligned with Guidewire best practices
Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, and integration teams to ensure accurate solution design and delivery
Define acceptance criteria, support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect triage
Work closely with underwriting, claims, billing, and actuarial teams to ensure regulatory compliance and business alignment
Support data migration, reporting validation, and integration with third-party systems (rating engines, payment gateways, document management, etc.)
Assist with change management, user training, and production support activities
Maintain requirement traceability matrices (RTM) and ensure alignment across business, functional, and technical deliverables
Stay current with Guidewire product updates, P&C insurance trends, and regulatory changes
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C Insurance domain
Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter
Solid understanding of P&C insurance products: Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Workers' Compensation
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Prior experience working with US insurance carriers is a strong plus
