Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, create and update programs, identify and suggest tooling replacement
Read drawings and specifications for machining and inspection
Ability to use measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Lead and mentor other operators, document and report findings
Proven problem-solving skills, safety minded with emphasis on quality
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
6+ years of CNC machine experience working with silicon, glass, or related material
Experience programming machines using Edgecam, manual, and conversational
Troubleshoot, create and update programs, identify and suggest tooling replacement
Read drawings and specifications for machining and inspection
Ability to use measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Strong math skills, particularly trigonometry
Must be detail oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively
Lead and mentor other operators, document and report findings
Proven problem-solving skills, safety minded with emphasis on quality
Preferred
NX Programming will be highly considered
Other programming languages considered G and M code, Variable, Powermill or Inventor Cam
