Responsibilities
Lead and supervise audit engagements across multiple operating entities
Train and mentor audit staff on methodology, technology, and best practices
Develop and execute annual audit plans and schedules
Perform operational, contract, regional, and business process audits
Conduct financial reviews and evaluate internal controls
Identify risks, assess controls, and recommend improvements
Prepare clear, actionable audit reports and present findings to management
Drive follow-up efforts to ensure corrective actions are implemented
Promote and expand the use of IDEA and data analytics in audits
Support special investigations and ad hoc projects as needed
Build strong partnerships with project teams, functional leaders, and stakeholders
Communicate audit findings collaboratively and constructively
Represent the audit function with professionalism and credibility
Serve as a role model for ethical behavior and professionalism
Actively participate in ongoing training and career development
Support a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and service
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
2–5 years of progressive accounting and auditing experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, GASB, and compliance requirements
Experience auditing operational and financial processes
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Proven project management and multitasking abilities
Comfort working independently and leading teams in the field
Preferred
CPA or CIA (or ability to obtain) strongly preferred
