Responsibilities
Act as a deal team member in the underwriting potential private credit transactions including diligence and credit memo preparation
Analyze historical financial statements, company KPIs, comparable company information/precedent transactions, identify and review industry reports to assist deal teams’ analysis of investment opportunities
Perform base case and downside case 3-statement modeling in support of investment recommendations and portfolio management
Coordinate analysis with our loan only/private credit analysts to provide industry and market comp context for each transaction
Help support the broader private credit business as we grow including portfolio management, structuring and capital markets activities
Be able to effectively work in a small deal team setting with a collaborative mindset while managing multiple deal processes at the same time
Analyze credit documents such as loan agreements, amendments, and security agreements
Qualification
Required
1-4 years of underwriting experience with a strong credit discipline
Strong team first mind set and ability to work within a large organization in a fast-paced environment
Excellent quantitative, communication, and time management skills
BA/BS degree required
