Responsibilities

Design and execute an internal communications strategy that supports LaserAway’s business priorities, growth, and values
Partner with executive and functional leaders to develop communication plans for major initiatives, organizational updates, and change efforts
Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and brand-aligned across all internal channels, including The Pulse intranet, newsletters, leadership communications, and company-wide campaigns
Navigate evolving direction, competing priorities, and last-minute requests with sound judgment and credibility
Write and edit compelling internal content, including leadership announcements, organizational updates, employee stories, and culture-focused features
Own and curate content for The Pulse 2.0, ensuring it remains relevant, engaging, and useful for teams across the organization
Translate complex or sensitive topics into clear, accessible messaging that resonates with diverse audiences
Build and execute internal campaigns that support recognition, training initiatives, leadership programs, and company milestones
Support leadership events and meetings with messaging, presentations, and follow-up communications
Leverage feedback and engagement data to continuously improve communication effectiveness
Build communication frameworks, templates, and processes from scratch to bring structure to a reactive environment
Manage multiple cross-functional communication projects simultaneously, from planning through execution
Serve as a steady, trusted communications partner during periods of organizational change or complexity

Required

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
5+ years of experience in internal or corporate communications; experience in multi-location, healthcare, or retail environments is a plus
Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling messages
Strong executive presence and organizational savvy; comfortable navigating competing perspectives and influencing without formal authority
Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, imperfect, or evolving environments
A builder mindset—you're comfortable creating structure, processes, and clarity where little exists
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and a collaborative working style
