Responsibilities
Own the full product roadmap and lifecycle for the Axxon platform (software and hardware), prioritizing initiatives that deliver maximum customer and business value
Lead development and enhancement of Axxon software products, including desktop and mobile (iOS/Android) user interfaces
Drive hardware innovation for Axxon Edge controllers and supporting sensor ecosystems, including performance improvements and new application-specific developments in collaboration with external partners
Contribute to strategic product decisions that drive energy efficiency and improved occupant comfort in NYC buildings
Execute the vision for an exceptional Dual Fuel customer experience
Shape and execute enhancements to the end-to-end digital customer experience, including seamless integration of field service workflows, customer self-service tools, and payment solutions within the Axxon platform
Guide the evolution of internal operational tools and systems to support scale and efficiency
Gather and synthesize customer feedback, own customer communications around new releases, features, and updates
Execute and communicate new product launches, features and improvements to existing and potential customers
Collaborate closely with our Lead Software Engineer and development team (internal and contractors) to align product priorities with technical execution
Report progress, risks, and wins directly to the CEO and C-suite
Qualification
Required
10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior product leadership role
Proven expertise in building automation systems, including both hardware (controllers, sensors) and software (UI/UX, mobile apps, energy dashboards)
Demonstrated success shipping complex B2B products in HVAC/building systems, SaaS energy management platforms, or mechanical contracting environments
Experience managing vendor relationships, external design consultants, and cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, sales)
Customer-centric mindset with a track record of translating user needs into prioritized roadmaps and successful launches
Excellent communication skills—comfortable presenting to executives, customers, and real estate owners
Bachelor's degree required; technical or engineering background strongly preferred
