SEO Analyst

The SEO Analyst will be responsible for increasing website visibility and driving organic search performance through keyword research, content optimization, and technical SEO initiatives.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify and prioritize high-value opportunities that drive organic traffic and revenue
Optimize on-site content, including blogs, landing pages, and category pages, to improve search visibility and user experience
Analyze competitor performance to identify content gaps, ranking opportunities, and emerging trends
Perform regular technical SEO audits, including page speed, mobile usability, crawlability, and site architecture
Partner with Marketing and cross-functional teams to manage and optimize local SEO efforts using tools such as YEXT and Google Business Profiles for each retail location
Collaborate with Marketing to expand organic reach through backlinks and SEO-driven content across social platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook)
Develop and execute link-building strategies, including internal linking enhancements and external backlink acquisition
Analyze customer search intent and proactively minimize keyword cannibalization across the site
Leverage AI tools and capabilities to enhance content creation, SEO workflows, and optimization strategies, while staying informed on AI-driven search trends
Create and maintain SEO performance reports, clearly communicating insights, opportunities, and recommendations to key stakeholders
Consistently monitor and analyze core KPIs such as organic traffic, conversion rates, bounce rates, and rankings to identify areas for continuous improvement
Develop and implement both on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase domain authority and improve search rankings
Stay current on SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends to ensure ongoing optimization and compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
2+ years of experience in e-commerce, retail, analytics, or a related field strongly preferred
Strong understanding of the metrics and drivers that create value in an e-commerce business
Well-developed business acumen with strong strategic judgment, analytical skills, and the ability to apply creative thinking to drive growth
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to take initiative without direct supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present data-driven insights
Hands-on experience with Google Analytics required
Preferred
MBA preferred
Experience with SEO platforms such as Conductor and Content King preferred
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end development languages is a plus
