Commercial Test & Turn Up Engineer - GA
Accelecom is bringing reliable, broadband connectivity to the State of Georgia. They are currently seeking a junior engineer to oversee successful Day of Job (DOJ) installation and service validation for Enterprise/Carrier grade clients, primarily working remotely and potentially on-site.

Responsibilities
Participate in and when required run DOJ conference bridges to facilitate successful installation
Serve as a subject-matter-expert and standard bearer for the install & test-turn-up process
Monitor installation schedules and coordinate with Engineering/Vendors to ensure necessary materials are secured for successful DOJ installation by internal & external teams out in the field
Identify opportunities for improvement with internal and external stakeholders to improve the quality and efficiency of the program
Serve as liaison between Service Delivery & Service Assurance. Pick up additional responsibilities in the transition Service Delivery & Assurance phases including but not limited to supporting change management and contribution to knowledge management creating job aides to document best practices
Support a product catalog including but not limited to E-Line (Access/Transit), E-Tree, E-LAN, Wave Optical, L3VPN, and Internet Service
Work closely with non-technical Project Managers to explain technical topics and advocate next steps

Qualification
Required
3 to 5 years work experience as a junior network engineer in service provider network environment
Experience with Adva, Ciena, Cisco, Juniper, Fujitsu, Rad devices
Experience with Process Documentation, Solarwinds, and Network Capacity Solutions software is a plus
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve IP network troubles in the physical, data link, and network layers
Exercises sound judgment within the scope of their empowerment and acts in the best interest of both the customer and company
While in the field and on client sites always represent Accelecom professionally and facilitate an exceptional client experience
Demonstrates innovative thinking that is pro-customer and generates innovative ideas
Shows high level of attention to details, and follow-through on open items, to include circuit DLRs and CLRs
Shows adaptability, resourcefulness, and persistence in responding to new situations in a changing, fast-paced work environment
Identifies and understands issues, problems, and opportunities; compares data from various sources to draw conclusions; uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; and takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences

Ability to lead and drive projects to completion
Preferred
Experience with physical site installation or ability to quickly learn and take ownership of existing DOJ/CPE install process documentation
A degree in related field, certifications (CCNA/JNCIA) or equivalent relevant experience
Experience with ticket systems or service management systems (Rev.IO, JIRA) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management systems (Salesforce)
Understanding of Customer Experience (CX) metrics and systems (e.g., Net Promoter Score)
