Responsibilities
Orchestrate the preparation and detailed review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring strict adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards and regulatory requirements
Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities by overseeing journal entries, complex account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to guarantee data integrity and reporting deadlines
Deliver reporting packages for executive leadership, integrating variance analysis, trend forecasting, and executive commentary to drive informed business decisions
Modernize and maintain robust financial reporting processes and internal control frameworks (SOX) to mitigate risk and optimize operational accuracy
Act as a key liaison between Accounting, FP&A, and Operations to synchronize data sets, and resolve complex discrepancies across the organization
Design and refine automated KPI dashboards and operational reporting tools that provide real-time visibility into business performance and departmental efficiency
Drive continuous improvement by spearheading ERP system enhancements and automation initiatives while managing external audit requests to ensure seamless year-end cycles
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
4+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting or accounting, ideally within a high-volume or multi-state corporate environment
Advanced Excel capabilities (including complex modeling and data manipulation) and hands-on experience navigating ERP systems or consolidation software
Strong mastery of GAAP and/or IFRS, with a deep understanding of the mechanical complexities involved in financial statement preparation
Exceptional analytical rigor, a process-improvement mindset, and the ability to articulate complex financial data into strategic narratives for executive stakeholders
Preferred
CPA designation is strongly preferred
