ITS 15 Solutions Architect
NEOGOV is part of the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB), which supports state agencies through various services. They are seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level IT architecture for the Management and Budget division, advocating for the use of emerging technologies such as AI and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Leading the development of enterprise architecture across systems and platforms
Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions
Aligning architecture with DTMB’s strategic goals
Evaluating and integrating emerging technologies including AI and cloud services
Conducting architecture reviews and ensuring compliance with NIST and DTMB standards
Providing technical leadership and mentorship to application architects and developers
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure interoperability and security
Qualification
Required
Possession of a bachelor's degree with not less than 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics
Three years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure, Programmer/Analyst or IT Project Coordinator P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure, Programmer/Analyst or IT Project Coordinator 12
Three years of experience as a computer programming supervisor or Information Technology Supervisor may be substituted for the education and experience
