Human Resources Intern

Responsibilities

Assist with job descriptions, resume screening, and interview scheduling
Support new hire onboarding activities, including processing new hires in HRIS and orientation preparation
Maintain accurate candidate and employee records in the HRIS/ATS
Help maintain personnel files and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with HR audits, reporting, and data entry projects
Support with Performance Management documents and ensure they are saved accurately in each employee record
Assist with updating HR documents, policies, and procedures
Support compliance-related initiatives (e.g., trainings, acknowledgments, recordkeeping)
Participate in HR projects aligned with business needs (e.g., Operating Model documentation, research, benchmarking)
Assist with employee communications (New Hire Communications, Raspberry Pi Postings, etc.), training logistics, and engagement initiatives
Support HR-led programs, events, and learning activities
Support with the office management functions as needed
Other duties as assigned

Required

High School diploma required
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Willingness to learn and ask questions
Utilize Word, PowerPoint, and Excel formatting, proofing, editing, copying, and promoting high-quality output with experience
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
