Sr. Analyst, Program Management

They are seeking a Sr. Analyst in Program Management to lead cross-functional teams in designing and implementing large-scale process redesigns and technology implementations within the HR function, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
Achieve executional excellence through efficient and effective project management practices
Analyze and understand business strategy and high priority goals
Direct large-scale, complex projects with numerous internal and external stakeholders
Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan. Proposes recommendations and adjustments to plans as required
Engage with appropriate stakeholders to facilitate agreement on objectives and success measures, manage issue tracking and resolution, and ensure project objectives are met
Engage broadly and deeply within and outside the HR function to quickly connect information and facilitate positive outcomes
Serve as a subject matter expert in routinely briefing key stakeholders, steering committees, etc. on program initiatives to facilitate decisions
Partner with stakeholders to understand their needs and use that knowledge to drive effective prioritization and roadmaps for delivery
Demonstrate the ability to learn and develop as a self-starter requiring little direction
Exhibit the ability to lead through persuasion and value versus role authority
Contribute to Vail’s talent philosophy and help others grow in their roles and career objectives
Demonstrate self-awareness and accountability while also holding others accountable to deliver on schedule
Ensure candid communication about potential risks, advising stakeholders of risk mitigation and control strategies
Escalate and resolve major impediments to program execution
Prioritize and adapt to constantly changing business needs
Provide thought leadership in the design and resourcing of large, complex projects with enterprise-wide impacts
Ability to manage initiatives from concept through to completion, including the development of requirements and assessing resource needs to inform budgets and timelines
Ability to socialize and manage multiple program work streams in support of strategic objectives, creating project / program plans and providing oversight during execution
Effectively manage impacts to business stakeholders and technical components of the program or project
Manage enterprise-wide programs with complex financial models including internal and external stakeholders
Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors, including RFPs, invoice payment, and tracking
Ability to oversee projects with many internal and contract resources across multiple work streams
Partner closely with HR leadership and IT partners to ensure continuous prioritization and effective resource management
