They are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with deep expertise in liquid processing systems to lead the design and execution of process systems for liquid products. The role involves managing project scope, schedule, and budget while collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of liquid processing systems for food and beverage manufacturing facilities

Translate client requirements into process design scope and deliverables

Manage and coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and construction partners

Oversee technical deliverables such as P&IDs, mass and energy balances, equipment specifications, and process narratives

Support and lead activities such as:

Vendor package management and technical bid evaluations

Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

Risk assessments (HAZOP, HACCP)

3D model reviews and coordination

Commissioning and startup support

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical development initiatives

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (ABET-accredited)

5+ years of experience in process engineering for liquid food or beverage systems, specifically in confectionary, pet food, fermentation, dairy, dressings and sauces

Strong understanding of sanitary design, CIP systems, and fluid handling equipment

Excellent communication and project coordination skills

Familiarity with industry codes and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, 3-A)

Preferred

PE or EIT certification

Experience with construction support (RFIs, submittals, punch lists)

Hands-on experience with commissioning and troubleshooting liquid process systems

Knowledge of automation and control systems for liquid processes
