Test Technician III, 2nd Shift (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Follows blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to ensure products meet specifications and tolerance levels
Performs functional testing using established test procedures and records all results accurately. Will troubleshoot down to the component level
Monitors test completion, maintains test equipment, and documents acceptance or failure outcomes
Operates hand tools, machine tools, and electronic/mechanical test equipment safely and effectively
Loads and unloads electronic units in test beds while adhering to quality and safety standards
Utilizes SAP and computer-based systems to follow work instructions and meet production schedules
Participates in continuous improvement (CORE), safety, and waste minimization initiatives
Collaborates across departments to resolve issues, trains others as needed, and supports audits and compliance activities

Required

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Experience with component-level troubleshooting
Experience with schematics or blueprints
Experience with using multimeters, oscilloscope, and/or spectrum analyzer

Preferred

Associate's degree in Electronics and/or certification in Electronics
Experience in the aerospace industry
Experience with thermal tables, vibrational tables, and test rigs
Experience with electronics in the testing field
3-4 years of relevant experience in a component-level troubleshooting environment
