Responsibilities
Leading advanced CFD, thermal, structural, and vibration analyses for propulsion, flight, and ground systems
Building and validating high-fidelity simulation models to support design decisions and qualification efforts
Performing steady-state and transient CFD, heat transfer, dynamic, and modal analyses
Partnering closely with design, test, and systems teams to drive analysis-informed engineering outcomes
Producing clear, defensible technical reports and communicating results to senior stakeholders
Mentoring engineers and contributing to best practices across analysis disciplines
Qualification
Required
Mechanical or aerospace engineering experience with a strong analysis focus
Deep expertise in CFD, thermal analysis, and vibration or structural dynamics
Experience supporting aerospace, propulsion, or defense systems
Strong engineering judgment and the ability to work on high-risk, high-impact programs
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
US person status due to ITAR requirements
Preferred
Experience with solid rocket motors or propulsion systems
Background correlating analysis models with test or flight data
