Responsibilities

Assist with investigations to identify at-fault parties

Communicate regularly with clients regarding injuries, medical treatment, and economic damages

Obtain, organize, and maintain up-to-date medical records, billing records, and supporting documentation

Determine applicability of health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and other liens

Draft persuasive and well-supported demand letters

Prepare cases for settlement negotiations and litigation

Draft discovery demands, responses, and other litigation-related documents

Prepare pleadings, including non-dispositive and procedural motions

Maintain professional correspondence with defense counsel, clients, and other relevant parties

Conduct legal research and manage case timelines and deadlines

Assist with trial preparation, including creation of exhibits and visual aids

Ensure diligent and accurate data entry within case management systems

Required

Paralegal Certificate or Associate Degree required
