Provider Engagement Account Executive

MissionHires is seeking a Provider Engagement Account Executive to serve as the strategic liaison between a major health organization and its provider network across Queens and the Bronx. This hybrid role focuses on driving value-based care performance, elevating quality metrics, and resolving operational issues through data analytics and collaboration with providers.

Responsibilities

Conduct frequent in-person meetings with providers (30–50% of time) to review performance and quality metrics
Collaborate with providers on value-based care agreements and align on outcomes, cost efficiency, and quality
Analyze performance data to deliver actionable insights that improve clinical and operational outcomes
Lead resolution of high-dollar or high-volume claims issues and provider-related inquiries
Prepare and present performance analytics and recommendations during Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings
Educate providers on referrals, claims processes, web tools, EDI, and operational procedures
Serve as team lead for external representatives; provide training, mentorship, and guidance
Partner cross-functionally with internal departments and external provider executives to drive results
Travel locally within Queens and the Bronx approximately 4 days per week
Utilize company-provided equipment to perform hybrid, home-based work effectively

Required

Bachelor's degree in healthcare, public health, or related field
5+ years of experience in managed care, provider relations, clinical operations, or quality improvement
Proven experience conducting face-to-face provider visits to review performance metrics
Background in project management within a health plan, IPA, or medical group environment
Strong understanding of HEDIS/quality measures, utilization management, and cost management
Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and drive performance improvement
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally within Queens and the Bronx
Comfort working in a hybrid role with company-provided equipment for home-based work
