They are seeking a Structural Project Manager to join their team, responsible for managing projects related to the evaluation and rehabilitation of structures, as well as mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will serve as Project Manager on a variety of projects involving the evaluation and rehabilitation of existing structures and facades. Responsibilities also include design of structural augmentation of existing structures and superstructure/foundation systems for new structures

Preparation of drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and correspondence as well as performing construction observations and meeting with clients

Mentoring is an important responsibility of our Project Managers and is critical to the success of our structural team

Responsible for the technical and financial performance of projects

Assist with writing proposals and business development efforts

Ability to present and represent Gale at Client meetings and obligations

Position requires both office and field work – primarily in the greater Boston and New England area

Required

A B.S. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 10+ years of experience

At least 3 years of proven project management experience

E. or S.E. Registration

Knowledge of concrete, masonry restoration, steel design, timber design, waterproofing, and building envelope assemblies

Proficiency using structural analysis software

Solid communication/presentation/writing skills

Ability to lead design teams and mentor junior staff
