MIT Lincoln Laboratory specializes in the rapid design and prototyping of innovative electro-optic systems for government organizations. They are seeking a highly motivated Senior Technician with an electrical background to support multiple programs in the electronics laboratory, focusing on electronic assembly and test equipment.

Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to, electronic assembly, circuits, and test equipment that may include electro-optical and mechanical assemblies
Experience working with soldering, cable making, drilling and chassis fabrication are valued
Operates highly technical experimental apparatus such as optical systems, prototype imagers, and laser systems
Qualification
Required
Graduation from a two-year technical school or its equivalent and a minimum of five years of experience
Candidate should be well organized, detail oriented, and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously

Strong interpersonal skills
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a solid work ethic
Ability to work independently and use good 'hands-on' skills
Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance
Preferred
SolidWorks experience is a plus
