Responsibilities

Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts

Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Assist with financial reporting and analysis

Maintain accurate and organized financial records

Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate job costing

Assist with audits and compliance requirements as needed

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in AccountingMicrosoft ExcelAccounting experienceAccounting software proficiencyAttention to detailOrganizational skillsCommunication skillsProblem-solving abilities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with QuickBooks or similar systems is a plus)

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

1-2 years of accounting experience preferred; internship experience considered

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Interest in the engineering or construction industry

Eagerness to learn and grow within the role
