Responsibilities
Own the Revenue Cycle: Manage and oversee daily operations for revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and cash application, ensuring adherence to accounting standards
Strategic Reporting: Develop and present insightful management reports, including variance analysis and commentary on financial performance, specifically around AUM and revenue
Month-End Master: Supervise and execute month-end closing processes, including managing intercompany eliminations and reconciling key balance sheet accounts
Compliance & Audit: Lead efforts in the development of core financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) and serve as a key liaison for external auditors
Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with business departments to align financial reporting with strategic objectives
Qualification
Required
7-10 years of experience in revenue accounting (ideally in asset management)
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required
Deep knowledge of GAAP, month-end closing, and accrual-based accounting
Highly proficient in ERP systems
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
CPA certification is strongly preferred
Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus
