They are seeking an experienced Executive Vice President of Finance to oversee all aspects of financial operations, regulatory reporting, and strategic planning while serving as a key advisor across the business.

Responsibilities
Serve as the senior-most finance leader, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounting and finance departments across multiple business lines
Oversee the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements and ensure timely and accurate external and regulatory reporting
Lead financial audits, tax compliance, and internal controls while supporting ongoing risk and governance initiatives
Manage capital calculations, liquidity management, and financial responsibility filings for the firm’s regulated entities
Monitor changes in financial regulations (SEC, FINRA, etc.) and advise executive leadership on implications and action steps
Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure financial processes align with business objectives
Supervise regulatory reporting such as Net Capital Computations, FOCUS filings, SSOI, and SIPC-related documentation
Provide thought leadership and strategic insights to improve profitability, cost efficiency, and financial system integration
Mentor and manage finance personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or CPA preferred
10+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, ideally within a broker-dealer, proprietary trading, or capital markets environment
Strong knowledge of SEC/FINRA regulations and broker-dealer reporting requirements
Proven ability to lead complex finance functions and partner with cross-functional executive teams
Highly analytical with excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
Preferred
advanced degree or CPA preferred
FINOP experience or Series 27 license highly preferred
