Responsibilities
As a Mechanic Supervisor A, you will be instrumental in repairing and performing preventative maintenance of our fleet of patrol vehicles
This position requires a comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, and computer-based automotive systems. It oversees the maintenance and repair of government vehicles, including pursuit-rated and diesel-powered units
This position provides supervision, guidance, logistical support, and limited administration at the LSP Troop B garage. Other assigned duties will be to oversee the Mechanic 4 and the trustees, inspecting and ensuring proper progress of repair work of other mechanics, updating LaGov cost and time records for repair activities, and supervising equipment records and parts/supply requisitions
Qualification
Required
Four years of experience or training as a mechanic
A comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, and computer-based automotive systems
