15+ years expCOVET IT INC is seeking an Enterprise Architect to define the technical architecture for a benefits portal. The role involves establishing integration strategies, mentoring team members, and engaging with clients to present findings and facilitate workshops.

Responsibilities
Architecture & Design Define target-state technical architecture for the benefits portal (Angular front-end, .NET backend, EIS core system), map integration patterns, document data flows, conduct gap analysis, and create architecture decision records
Integration Strategy & Governance Establish API testing framework and validation criteria, define data feed specifications, collaborate with EIS vendor, identify risks and mitigation strategies, and review integration plans
Team Leadership & Mentorship Mentor team members on cloud architecture and best practices, guide technical decision-making, conduct peer reviews, and facilitate escalation paths
Client Engagement Present findings to leadership, facilitate workshops with technology teams, and identify blockers and vendor clarifications
Qualification
Required
15+ years of enterprise software architecture experience
10+ years designing integration solutions in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
Strong expertise with microservices, API-first architectures, and event-driven patterns
Deep experience with core insurance platforms (policy administration, claims processing)
Proficiency in C# .NET ecosystem and SQL
Experience with data warehouse architecture and ETL patterns (Snowflake experience a plus)
Proven ability to mentor and guide technical teams
Strong communication skills for technical and executive audiences
Preferred
Experience with EIS platform or comparable insurance core systems (vetch, FIS)
AWS or Azure certifications (Solutions Architect Associate or equivalent)
Background in employee benefits or supplemental insurance domain
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST clients)
Prior POC or technology assessment engagements in insurance
