Responsibilities
Lead hands-on product development, including design reviews and testing
Drive new product introductions (NPIs), product launches, and ongoing improvements
Collaborate on product development: design reviews, prototyping, and validation of consumer appliance electrical systems (electronic components, control panels, GUIs, mechanism control)
Troubleshoot and refine designs for optimal performance
Ensure product safety and compliance by working with suppliers and meeting standards (UL, CSA, FCC, DOE)
Partner across teams to deliver high-quality, compliant products
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience
Proven hands-on experience in consumer product development, including prototyping, NPIs, and compliance
Strong knowledge of electrical controls, schematics, and component specifications for consumer products
Familiarity with compliance standards (UL, CSA, FCC) and regulatory frameworks
Proficiency in Excel and technical documentation
