The role involves following cleaning practices and SOPs to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices while performing various janitorial tasks.

Responsibilities
Perform cleaning services per scope and follow governing SOPs in non-classified spaces where applicable
Responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy facility by completing various tasks such as, but not limited to, mopping and vacuuming floors, high and low dusting, deep cleaning and disinfecting of multiple surfaces and restrooms, and appropriate disposal of waste receptacles daily- including recyclables
Responsible for completing deep cleans, office restoration, and special projects requested by Janitorial Supervisor and JLL/FS managerial teams
Responsible for verifying that the proper chemicals are used for each designated area assigned
Responsible for organization and upkeep of janitor closets, supply storage, and cleaning equipment
Notifying Janitorial Supervisor of occurring deficiencies, safety concerns, and need for repairs, sitewide
Assisting with employee uniforms
Any and all other duties assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Familiarity with cGMPs and adherence to SOPs
Knowledge of cleaning practices and procedures
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, shutdowns and overtime as required
Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, lifting, and operating cleaning equipment
Ability to continuously stand and walk throughout workday
Ability to read, write, and understand documentation in English
Preferred
Prior experience of cleaning a GMP controlled environment is a plus
Prior experience in janitorial or custodial roles, preferably in a regulated industry such as lab, biotech or pharmaceuticals is a plus
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) preferred
