Responsibilities

Enable high performance of the supply chain facility by fostering a reliability-centered maintenance culture
Provide strong leadership to Maintenance Technicians, Utility Attendants and EAM Software Technicians
Deliver solutions for challenging problems and work with building leaders to optimize use of material handling equipment
Manage external contractors and be on call for emergencies
Develop a continuous improvement ethic in the team by following a data-driven daily process focused on root cause elimination
Improve the reliability of the system through ownership in defect handling and planning and scheduling
Collaborate with other department leaders to accomplish engineering and maintenance departmental goals
Provide frequent constructive and critical feedback on work quality to enhance individual performance
Administer performance management and reviews for the team
Oversee all onboarding and completion of required training for new hires
Develop and communicate shift hand-offs to ensure continuity of maintenance efforts
Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets and oversee the escalation process during downtime incidents
Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and promote safe working across the site
Conduct safety investigations and incident after action reviews to determine root causes
Manage the overall health, reliability, and life cycle management for all site commodities
Approve financial expenditures for parts within corporate guidelines and validate the quality of work performed by external contractors

Required

4- year degree in Engineering or related fields, or equivalent experience
Previous supervisory experience in a team-oriented environment
Ability to read, interpret, and effectively communicate necessary policies and procedures
Ability to manage, lead, and influence others on a team while prioritizing multiple projects
Experience with multi-contractor management
Self-motivated and customer-centric
Excellent PC competency
