Responsibilities
Develops skills to program, support, and troubleshoot control logic, human machine interface (HMI) displays and supporting technology (networks, remote communications/protocols and metering) to meet operational, economic, and regulatory objectives
Understands cause and effects (C&E) and controls narrative documentation and utilizes this documentation to assist with factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT)
Troubleshoots basic alarms with other operational teams and assists in their resolution
Understands local operational processes and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and assists troubleshooting issues
Performs maintenance Controls projects and day-to-day support; receives direction from others and seeks out mentoring contacts throughout the organization
Understands MPLX standards/guidelines as well as industry standards/guidelines
Understands core concepts and participates in safety-related processes and programs such as process hazards analysis (PHA) and management of change (MOC)
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or vocational qualifications in related field required
Seven (7) years of related experience required
Valid Driver's License Required
