Responsibilities

Direct, manage and oversees new business and renewal risk evaluation for Aspirus Health Plan, setting rates appropriate for the underlying risks, while helping to build stronger relationships with prospect, new and existing groups

Underwriting will be completed using a blended, experience-rated methodology for both self-insured and fully insured employers

Stop-loss specific and aggregate pricing for both self-insured large groups

Modify rates to meet company enrollment and profitability objectives

Assist in the training and development of less experienced underwriters and with the development and implementation of department policies, procedures, and processes
