Maintenace Engineer

EOS Hospitality is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team at Hawks Cay Resort. The Maintenance Engineer will ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the resort's facilities through hands-on maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
Respond promptly to guest and operational maintenance requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution
Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal disruption to resort operations
Maintain the resort’s pools, water features, and landscaping systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Conduct regular safety checks, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective measures
Assist in the execution of resort improvement projects, renovations, and new installations
Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and supplies necessary for daily operations
Work collaboratively with other departments to provide seamless guest experiences
Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities management, or a related field, preferably in a resort or hospitality environment
Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently
Familiarity with safety and building codes, as well as OSHA regulations
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in varying environmental conditions

Preferred

Technical certification or trade school training preferred
