Responsibilities
Design, develop, integrate, and test high-frequency RF/microwave components and systems
Work with antennas, amplifiers, filters, combiners, couplers and transceivers for applications such as microwave, unlicensed PTP/PMP, distributed antenna systems (DAS), and LMR telecommunications systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with a concentration in RF/Microwave Engineering
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in RF/microwave system design and testing
Proficiency in RF design and propagation tools (EDX, Pathloss, etc.)
Experience with RF measurement equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, cable/antenna analyzers, etc.)
Solid understanding of impedance matching (VSWR, RL) in cable/antenna systems, noise and interference mitigation, link budget analysis, modulation schemes, antenna selection and the impact of each on overall RF system performance
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Self starter who can work independently and as a member of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Experience in RF network integration and optimization for cellular (LTE, 5G), WiFi, microwave/PTP/PMP (licensed, unlicensed 5Ghz/mmWave), satellite, or defense applications
Knowledge of FCC/NTIA compliance requirements and RF safety/exposure standards
Experience designing and commissioning products by leading manufacturers including (but not limited to) Nokia, Motorola, Cambium, Siklu, Commscope, and Nextivity
