Responsibilities
Proper handling, securing, and shipping requirements for COMSEC and classified equipment per host base regulations
Verify equipment classification at point of turn-in and have thorough knowledge of DoD Classification forms
Receive, inspect, and process government property and accurately log with additional information such as ERRC Code, Shelf-Life Code, and Serial Number
Review Air Force asset management reports and Repair Cycle operations, monitor stock levels, requisition status/DUO status, and daily transactions, Due-In from Maintenance, and Special List of Equipment, and shipping preparations
Manage/control all stock and auditable records
Process paperwork required as part of any/all parts transactions and packaging requirements for shipping of various classification levels
Process routine & MICAP requisitions in support of home station and forward deployed aircraft, ground systems and mission kits
Must be worldwide deployable with the ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Ability to lift 50 lbs. up to 5% of the time
Ability to climb ladders daily
Able to prioritize work tasks based upon operational needs
Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree with four (4) years of prior experience with Logistics/Supply Management
Graduate Degree with two (2) years of prior experience with Logistics/Supply Management
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of prior experience with Logistics/Supply Management
Four (4) years of Supply Chain experience managing DoD/AF Property and Equipment
Must have an active Secret clearance at the time of hire with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance within the first year of employment
Must be a US Citizen
Preferred
Big Safari Inventory (BSI) system processing and inventory management experience
Thorough knowledge of BSI operations and approval requirements
Experience with decentralized warehouse facilities, operating sites, deployed kits, equipment, mod kits, and loaned assets assigned to Field Sites
Ability to maintain Mission Support Kits and provide training for deployed technicians tasked with managing them
Experience managing/processing obsolete assets
