Project Manager (Architectural) - New York K-12
Ashley McGraw Architects, D.P.C. is seeking a Project Manager (Architectural) to lead and manage architectural projects for K–12 public schools throughout New York State. The role involves overseeing projects from inception through construction closeout, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project goals are met while fostering a positive team culture.

Responsibilities
Define project scope, track deliverables, and coordinate integrated project planning efforts
Mentor and guide staff at all levels, evaluating performance and supporting ongoing skill development and professional growth
Encourage a positive, collaborative team culture and resolve conflicts constructively
Serve as the point of contact, alongside the PM, for client representatives, district administrators, and project stakeholders, exercising timely, clear communication across all phases of work
Lead and document project meetings; provide consistent updates on project progress, challenges, and decisions
Represent the firm with professionalism, supporting long-term client relationships and future opportunities
Oversee the development, organization, and quality of design and documentation from early concept through construction documents
Oversee integration of code requirements, SED requirements, and project-specific regulatory needs into documentation
Manage the project QA/QC process
Coordinate closely with the Project Architect and technical leads to maintain clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy
Support development and refinement of project management processes, tools, and standards across the firm
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Architecture
10+ years of relevant project management experience, including substantial K–12 or institutional project work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage complex discussions with clients, consultants, and internal teams
Strong management, leadership, and mentoring capabilities
Proven organizational skills and experience managing project budgets, schedules, and staffing
Must be located within driving distance of New York State projects
