Responsibilities
Set shared technology standards, roadmaps, and best practices across multiple operating companies
Provide strategic IT guidance and alignment without direct reporting authority
Serve as a connector and facilitator across independent IT teams
Support shared platforms and enterprise initiatives while respecting operating-company autonomy
Influence through partnership, collaboration, and trust—not command-and-control leadership
Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy, policies, and tools (firewalls, antivirus, backups, data protection)
Coordinate security initiatives and incident response across decentralized teams
Oversee audits, threat monitoring, and recovery planning
Lead employee cybersecurity awareness and training programs
Oversee performance, reliability, and security of corporate hardware, software, and networks
Manage vendors, software licensing, and technology contracts
Evaluate and support systems for finance, accounting, HR, property management, and operations
Research and coordinate enterprise-wide technology initiatives, including shared platforms and AI tools
Improve business applications and workflows to enhance efficiency and data accuracy
Provide day-to-day technology support to corporate teams and collaborate with operating companies as needed
Support users with varying technical skill levels
Maintain documentation for systems, access controls, procedures, and continuity planning
Support long-term resilience and institutional knowledge across the enterprise
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive IT experience, ideally in a multi-entity, decentralized, or professional services environment
Strong experience with cybersecurity tools, policies, and risk management
Proven ability to lead through influence without direct authority
Experience supporting both strategic initiatives and hands-on technology operations
Collaborative, solutions-oriented leadership style
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable balancing enterprise standards with operating-company independence
Able to work independently and prioritize across multiple business units
Discreet, trustworthy, and culturally aligned with a family-owned organization
