Sales Development Representative
Tenna is a company rooted in the construction industry, providing innovative solutions for managing and tracking construction equipment. They are seeking Sales Development Representatives to generate leads, book demos, and support the Enterprise Sales Team in advancing their technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Conducts thorough, targeted searches and queries to research, qualify, and generate sales leads that align with the company’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
Initiates communications with new business prospects via outbound phone calls and email
Successfully conveys the company’s value proposition to new business prospects via phone and schedules virtual product demonstrations for Sales Reps in accordance with the prospect’s availability
Facilitates smooth, warm transfers of quality opportunities to Sales Reps and schedules other appointments when appropriate
Collaborates with the Enterprise Sales Team and Sales Leadership to ensure strategic alignment
Creates and uses Account Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns to cultivate and build relationships with prospects
Qualifies leads generated from marketing campaigns and strategic outreach
Quickly identifies a company’s “pain points” and use case to assess potential fit
Demonstrates a firm understanding of the prospect. Understands the prospective customer’s requirements, goals, and concerns
Understands the product inside and out. Can clearly and concisely articulate the value of the product to prospective customers
Learns the essentials of the construction industry, acquiring the context to successfully communicate value of Tenna to prospective customers
Prioritizes deadlines to effectively meet Marketing and Sales Team goals
Maintains accuracy and cleanliness of CRM system according to team best practices
Qualification
Required
2+ years' experience selling software to the construction or related industries
2+ years' experience developing leads from Account Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns and meeting sales quotas
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, particularly around managing information
Interest in a career in lead generation, business development and client growth
Self-motivated and adaptable, with a strong service orientation and “do what it takes” attitude
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary
Deadline driven with a high sense of urgency
Diligent, thorough and detail oriented
Passion for working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to demonstrate personal commitment and drive to set and exceed high standards
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or other business-related majors strongly preferred
Experience in the Construction Industry is preferred
Experience using Sales Force and HubSpot is strongly preferred
