Responsibilities
Identifying, qualifying and closing potential customers
Managing a sales pipeline and spending budget
Coordinating response to quote and proposal requests
Visiting current and potential customers
Attending regional and national industry conferences
Participating on industry committees
Making technical presentations and attending sales meetings
Responsibilities will also include collaborating with Project Managers, as well as developing and maintaining a working knowledge of our firm, our customers and our laboratory operation. The primary target customer sectors shall include public water agencies, commercial laboratory partners, water quality consultants and Federal/State government entities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Proven record of accomplishment (at least 5 years) working with customers in a sales or customer service role
Willingness to travel approximately 8-10 days per month
Must be located near in or around the Denver, CO area
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Preferred
Commercial Laboratory or the Water Industry experience desired but not required
Professional, knowledgeable, confident and friendly demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good computer, Word and Excel skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
