Responsibilities
Partner with the Senior Data Architect to implement and operationalize data architecture designs
Build, enhance, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines supporting cloud-based applications
Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes primarily for structured data
Work with relational database platforms, including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across data workflows
Collaborate with application and platform teams to support external-facing and internal systems
Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline, performance, and reliability issues
Contribute to documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in data engineering roles
Strong expertise in SQL and relational data modeling
Hands-on experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
Experience building and supporting data solutions in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Proven ability to work closely with data architects and cross-functional teams
Preferred
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience preferred
Experience working in large enterprise or highly regulated environments
Familiarity with data orchestration, pipeline automation, and monitoring tools
Experience supporting data platforms used by external stakeholders or customers
